Saving In Facebook

I thought I’d share a little tech tip for Facebook that you might not be aware of.  It’s how to save links or videos that show up in your news feed.

A lot of people will share a link or video to their timeline to save it. There’s an easier way and it works whether you’re using Facebook on a computer or on a mobile device.

Here’s what you need to do:

When you find a link or video in your news feed that you’d like to save look for the little drop down carrot in the upper right-hand corner of the post and press it.

Facebook example 1This will bring up a drop down menu where you can choose to save the link or video.
Facebook example 2Once you’ve done that it’s saved.  When you want to see your saved items look for the “saved” tab to the left of your news feed.

Press/click on it and it will bring up everything you’ve saved.
