Willie Nelson music: Not sure why but I’ve been on a Willie Nelson kick lately. I’ll fire up Google Play Music and listen to my favorites… and that has led to hearing some of his early music I haven’t heard before. He’s even got some great new music.
Iced Tea + Lemonade: Some may know it as an Arnold Palmer but I love this mix of two great summertime drinks. One of my favorite convenience stores has any size drink for $1. I’ve figured out the perfect 44oz. mix of ice, traditional tea, sweet tea, and lemonade.
Pasta Salad: With warmer temps and busy schedules this is a favorite “go-to” meal this time of year. You can read about it here.
LoCash: Their song “I Love This Life” has been a favorite of mine since the very first time I heard it.
I got a chance to hang out with these guys backstage at the Big Country Bash and they were super cool. I’ve been fortunate to meet lots of country stars over the years but these 2 rank near the top as some of the nicest and most personable. Since that show, I’ve listened to their “The Fighters” album many times. Great stuff!
Google Assistant: This feature, now available on many Android phones, is cool. I’m learning to use it more and more. It’s so easy to say, “OK Google… set an alarm for 6 am,” or “OK Google… Add a recording session with a client at 2:30 pm Wednesday to my calendar,” or “OK Google… tell me a joke.” There’s so much Google Assistant can do and I’m learning more about it every day.
Heartland: My family loves this Canadian TV series on Netflix. We were all excited when two new seasons became available this Summer. It’s a family-friendly drama about life at a horse ranch. One of the characters has unique skills working with horses.
