It’s Holy Week… a week of great importance for Christians.   A week that brings with it a wide range of emotions… from the solemn to the celebratory.

One thing that really connects me to this week is music.  There are plenty of songs that bring the week home and make it real to me.

One those is “By His Wounds”.  It weaves Isaiah 53:5 into the lyrics.

“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”

This is one of the many songs that I’ll listen to several times this week.  What songs are on your Holy Week playlist?

If there’s something you want to learn you should look to YouTube! Sure, there are a lot of pointless videos online but… there are plenty of useful ones too!

The first time I realized this myself was when our washing machine quit working. I did a quick Google search including our washer model and what it was doing.

That search pointed me to a YouTube video showing me how to get into our washing machine and replace the faulty part. I took the old part into our local hardware store. They had a replacement that got us back in business washing clothes again.

A few months after that I had to watch another video to fix a different problem on it… but once again YouTube and our local hardware store came to the rescue.

YouTube is also where I learned how to replace the side mirror on our car after a buy modafinil boots.
