I’ll admit that when it comes to reading my Bible regularly I tend to go in streaks. There will be times I’ll be pretty good about it… and times where I’ll go awhile in between readings.
Lately, I’ve been in a Bible reading dry spell. I could make all kinds of excuses as to why but the only real one is that I haven’t made it the daily priority it should be.
I do, at least, get exposed to one verse of scripture each day because I have my phone set up to show me a different Bible verse right on my home screen.
One of the verses that popped up this week reminded me of the importance of the Bible and why we should read it. It got me back on track, for now, carving out a little bit of my lunch hour to open the Bible app on my phone to read.
So what verse was it? It was actually two.
2 Timothy 3:16-17(NIV)
