Decisions. Sometimes they’re are tough for me to make. Sure, I can make the easy decisions. The ones that don’t take much thought or have lasting consequences.
It’s the bigger ones I struggle with. The ones that could have an impact not just on today but on the future as well.
Fortunately, when it comes to making decisions, I’m not alone. I’ve got two sources of comfort I turn to.
There’s my wife. She knows me so well. She’s a great sounding board. Knowing we’re a team and that she’s got my back means the world.
My other source of comfort is my faith. When faced with difficult decisions I pray… a lot. Just like the Bible says we should.
“If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it.” James 1:5 (MSG)
The next time you’re faced with a difficult decision I hope you realize that you’re not alone.
